Expansion Fulfills Hospital’s Community Mission Fulfilling ECRMC’s Mission to the community is a never-ending process of growth and improvement. We are well on our way to expanding, revitalizing and modernizing our facilities to meet the increasing demand for services. The Board of Trustees determined that the hard costs of construction of the new 66,000 square-foot, two-story structure will be covered by revenue bonds that will cost taxpayers nothing. The community is assisting through gifts and pledges to the Building on a Legacy of Caring capital campaign. This campaign provides for needs essential to completing the new facility and preparing current facilities for the maximum benefit of the Imperial Valley.
