Digital Mammography

The Imaging Center at ECRMC has the only truly Digital Mammography machines in the Imperial Valley. The two digital cameras are equipped with CAD (Computer Aided Detection) that provides the most accurate reading available and serves as a second reading to minimize the chances of revisits. The all-digital system allows for faster appointments and shorter wait time; and best of all, it provides automatic results to physician offices via ECRMC's remote viewing system.

ECRMC Women's Center

Delivering a baby at ECRMC is a special experience for everyone. Mothers and babies are treated by experienced and caring nurses that understand the importance of comfort and quality care. All new mothers are cared for in individual rooms to enhance the bonding experience with their new arrivals. Also, all new families are visited and consulted by educators in both baby care and lactation services to begin their new baby responsibilities with confidence on their arrival home.

Low Premature Birth Rates

Last year, of the 1 200 babies who were born at ECRMC, only 5.46 percent were born prematurely. This places the Imperial Valley at less than half the National Average for premature births. ECRMC's healthcare team works every day to reduce the number of premature births by monitoring patients at risk for premature deliveries and taking action when necessary.
