El Centro Regional Medical Center, an agency of the City of El Centro, California is a not-for-profit acute care rural hospital. Licensed for 165 beds, El Centro Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is under the guidance of a seven-member Board of Trustees. Although owned by the city, the hospital does not receive city tax revenues.
Currently, there are over 140 physicians, representing more than 30 specialties, who are affiliated with ECRMC.On staff are more than 200 registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses as well as about 50 certified nursing assistants. The nursing staff also boasts a wide variety of specialty certifications.
Continuing education is an ongoing emphasis with the nursing staff.ECRMC offers a comprehensive range of clinical health care services as well as community health education programs.
We respond to community’s needs by providing Emergency Services, Intensive Care, In-patient and Out-patient Surgery, Obstetric/Gynecological/Pediatric Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory Services, Nuclear Medicine and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies and a myriad of community health programs.
