Diabetes Education & Self-Management CenterECRMC is proud to provide quality education regarding diabetes and all of its symptoms. The El Centro Regional Medical Center Diabetes Education and Self-Management Program is a recognized education program that has been awarded recognition by the American Diabetes Association. This program offers high-quality education services to the patients it serves. Self-management education is an essential component of diabetes treatment. The participant in an ADA Recognized Program will be taught, as needed, self-care skills that will promote better management of his or her diabetes treatment regime. At ECRMC, we believe that knowledge is power. We will show you all the possibilities to manage your diabetes well in the “real-world” while achieving the quality of life you deserve. The Diabetes Center is designed to educate and assist those with Type 1, Type 2 or Gestational Diabetes. Neither you nor your family has to deal with disease alone. Diabetes Center Educators and support staff are here to help you become the expert on your diabetes.
