El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) has launched My IVhealth, an
online patient portal for observation patients and those previously admitted
to the hospital.
Whether it’s getting lab results, reviewing history of prescribed
medications or checking progress notes, ECRMC patients will now have quick
and easy access to their personal medical information via a free, secure
online portal.
“We want our patients to be active and engaged participants in their
healthcare,” said Tomas Virgen, Interim CEO of ECRMC. “Giving
them round-the-clock access to their inpatient medical records is part
of that open exchange of information.”
Patients can create their My IVhealth account at time of registration or
a My IVhealth representative will visit the patient at the bedside to
set-up an account that will enable the patient to gain access to the portal
once they return home. Patients requiring assistance in accessing their
information will be directed to call (760) 482-5070. Once a My IVhealth
account has been created, patients will have secure access to:
- Patient demographics
- Care plan
- Lab results
- Clinical notes
- Medication lists
- Upcoming appointments
- Medical document
- Medication allergies
Outpatients visiting our El Centro or Calexico clinics will continue to
have access to their medical records via the eClinical Works portal, which
will remain separate from My IVhealth.
This is another step taken by ECRMC to provide patients with a free, secure,
accessible and convenient way to view their health information and to
engage them in their medical care.
