Notice of discontinuation of Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery and Pediatric services

Beginning on January 5, 2023, we will no longer be admitting Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery patients nor inpatient Pediatric patients. These services are available at the following locations, all locations listed below accept Medicare and Medi-Cal.

Emergency services for Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, and Pediatrics patients will continue to be offered in our Emergency Room.

Prenatal care is a must for pregnant women to ensure the health of both mother and her unborn child. El Centro Regional Medical Center has a dedicated staff of physicians and support personnel ready to partner with expecting mothers and fathers and see that everything possible is done to ensure healthy childbirth.

Our Prenatal Care Services

ECRMC prenatal care services include:

• Observation and evaluation for both mothers and fetal well-being
• Medication administration and management
• Limited OB sonograms
• Intravenous hydration
• Non-Stress Test (to monitor baby's heart rate)
• Amniocentesis (AFT) to detect any abnormalities or infections
