VISITOR RESTRICTIONS EFECTIVE AUGUST 30, 2021

A Customer Service Representative is posted at each entrance and will be screening all persons entering the hospital, clinics, and medical office building for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. A new mask will be provided upon entry and must be worn at all times.

COVID-19 Vaccine or Testing Requirements for Visitors
With the exception of the Emergency Department (ED) and Obstetrics all visitors to the ECRMC main campus (hospital) must provide proof of being fully vaccinated or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the last 72 hours.

  • Visiting hours are 8am to 8pm. One (1) person at a time will be allowed during visiting hours. Visitors, support persons and caregiver must be 16 years old and older.
  • During visiting hours, visitors must use the Main Entrance (M-F from 8AM to 5PM) and the ER entrance (M-F from 5pm to 8pm & on weekends and holidays) for entering and exiting and will be asked by the greeter, patient’s name and if someone is visiting the patient, the visitor waiting to come in will be asked to wait until the current visitor has exited the room.
  • One (1) caregiver at a time, who is accompanying a patient that is mentally challenged, unable to be self-directed, unable to verbally communicate, unable to physically stand or move for the duration of the hospitalization or clinic visit. Caregiver may change throughout the patient’s hospitalization or clinic visit.
  • Visitors will NOT be able to visit patients at any time who are in airborne isolation or droplet isolation.
  • Cafeteria is not open to the public. If the patient is sharing the room with another patient, visitors may not eat in the patient's room.
  • At this time department waiting rooms are closed to visitors.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

  • One (1) support person or caregiver per patient in the Emergency Room at
    a time, may not change throughout the patients stay in the Emergency Room.
  • Support person/Caregiver will NOT be able to visit patients at any time who are in airborne isolation or droplet isolation. Except for those accompanying a minor.

OBSTETRICS

  • One (1) support person for the duration of the patient’s stay in Obstetrics. No switching.
  • Support person is not permitted for NSTs and pre-op appointments.
  • Postpartum patients are allowed one visitor, during visiting hours only.
  • Support person and visitors will NOT be allowed at any time for patients who are on airborne or droplet isolation.

PEDIATRICS

  • One (1) parent or caregiver at a time.
  • Visitors will NOT be allowed at any time for patients who are on airborne or droplet isolation.

CDC guidance for unmasking does NOT
apply to healthcare settings.

To protect you, your family and our healthcare workers, we require the use of masks in all our facilities; even if you have been vaccinated.

    Monday through Friday
    Hours: 7:00AM – 7:00PM
