Language Services
El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) recognizes that all patients
have the right to informed decision-making about their health care and
requires clinical staff to utilize Interpretation and Translation Services
to help deliver quality care, enhance patient-centered care, reduce risk
and to help improve overall clinical outcomes.
ECRMC provides spoken language interpretation services and American Sign
Language (ASL) services to accommodate those who have limited proficiency
in English, or are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Services offered:
- Spanish oral interpretation
- Over-the-phone interpretation services provided by CyraCom. This service
is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff and physicians will
access this service.
- American Sign Language Services, provided by NexTalk video remote interpretation
(VRI) platform are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff and
physicians will access this service.
