Imperial County voters will decide on Measure N, a ballot measure placed by IVHD.

Measure N will appear on the
November 3, 2026 election ballot.
What is it? (Parcel tax)
Measure N would add a
$111 per year special tax on
each property parcel within the district, starting
July 1, 2027.
How long would it last?
There is
no end date. The tax would continue each year
unless voters repeal it.
How many votes does it need to pass?
Measure N would need
two-thirds (2/3) voter approval to pass.
What the Measure Says the Money Would Support
If approved, funds would be used for things like:
- Hospital operations and upkeep
- Technology and medical equipment
- Expanding services, including cancer care, heart care, and mental health care
- Keeping and recruiting doctors and nurses
- Seismic (earthquake) upgrades required by state law
Oversight and Accountability
Measure N would require:
- An independent audit every year
- Detailed reports to the IVHD Board of Directors on how funds are spent
