Thank You for Your Interest in Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteering is a rewarding commitment that not only fills our patients’ hearts, but the entire community! Below you will find information about the different volunteer programs at ECRMC and how to be a part of them.

Volunteer Eligibility

Junior Volunteers:
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 15 years
  • Parental consent required for junior volunteers 15-17 years old
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Required to volunteer at least (4) hours per week instead of 3
  • Required to attend all meetings
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated
  • Flu Shot
Adult Volunteers:
  • 18 and over and not in High School
  • There is no maximum age limit for an adult volunteer
  • Volunteer at least four (4) hours per week, for a minimum of six (6) months
  • Required to attend all meetings
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated
  • Flu Shot
Pet Therapy Handlers, Music Therapy Volunteers, and Chaplains:
  • Same age restrictions as above
  • Flexible schedule

Application and Interview Process

Candidates are welcome to apply. Applicants will be notified of their interview date and time within two weeks after the deadline. If selected to be part of the volunteer program, you will be invited to a mandatory training and begin your health clearances.

When to apply? January, May, and September of 2024.
