Pneumonia Vaccination and Protection Against Community Acquired Pneumonia

This pneumonia vaccination study determines the effectiveness of Pfizer’s Prevnar 20 pneumonia vaccine against pneumococcal pneumonia in comparison to other pneumonia vaccines. Prevnar 20 helps protect against more strains of bacteria that cause pneumonia.

You may be eligible if:

• You are admitted to the hospital with pneumonia.
• Male or female, age 65 and older.

Participation Details:

• A urine specimen will be collected once during hospital stay.
