Rehabilitation Services

Fostering Recovery at El Centro Regional Medical Center

At El Centro Regional Medical Center, patients can expect comprehensive care that assists them throughout every stage of their medical issues. For many patients, this also means rehabilitation. ECRMC's rehabilitation services team helps countless patients recover from their medical issues by building the strength, mobility, and confidence they need to maintain or improve their quality of life throughout their hospital stay.

Both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services are available to ECRMC patients, depending on the nature of their medical issue and their circumstances. The hospital's dedicated, experienced, and compassionate therapists and staff work closely with patients to create a plan tailored to their body and rehabilitation goals.

Why is rehabilitation so important?

Early rehabilitation in the hospital setting is important because:

  • It helps increase strength, range of motion, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
  • It helps reduce pain during recovery.
  • It teaches you how to be safe when you leave the hospital.
  • It helps prevent future injuries.
  • It helps patients stay active, independent, and healthy.
