COVID-19 Immune Protection Study
Enrollment Complete
A study to evaluate the presence of and the immune response to the SARS-Cov-2
virus, in healthy adults between 30 and 65 years. Our primary goal is
to better understand how the immune system affects a person's response
to the virus.
Seeking Healthy Adults for a COVID-19 Study
You may be eligible if you are:
• Between the ages of 30 to 64 years old
• Have not received the COVID-19 vaccine
• Have not had COVID-19 in the past
Benefits of participating:
• Payment of approximately $250 to $400
• Free weekly COVID-19 self-testing at home with a comfortable nasal swab
Participant Details:
Follow the website below to complete a screening questionnaire. Once eligibility is determined, you will be contacted to schedule a visit at the Research Center for a blood draw. Participants will be asked to complete weekly electronic surveys and self-collected nasal swabs.
Corvus III
Enrollment Complete
Corvus III was conducted among hospitalized patients with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19. This study determines the effectiveness of an investigational medication vs. placebo among participants 18 years and older with a confirmed positive COVID test.

You may be eligible if you are:
- Confirmed positive for COVID-19
- Hospitalized with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms
- Have adequate organ function
- Do not meet exclusion criteria

Participant Details:
Participants will have additional laboratory testing done before, during, and after a study medication or placebo is given. Participants will have follow up laboratory testing at the Research Center after discharge from hospital.

AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine Trial
Enrollment Complete
A clinical study to evaluate an investigational vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 in adults. The study will see how safe the investigational vaccine is and how well it works.
Primary Investigator: Dr. Christian Tomaszewski/Sub-Investigator: Dr. Allan Wu and Dr. Shiloh Williams
You may be eligible if you are:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are in good or stable health (you may have an underlying medical condition and still take part, if your disease is stable)
- Have an increased risk of getting COVID-19
- Do not have a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19
Benefits of participating:
- The study injections and study-related tests will be provided at no cost to you
- A team of doctors and nurses will monitor your health carefully during the study
- You will not be paid to take part in this study, but you may be reimbursed for reasonable travel costs during your participation.
Participant Details:
- Participants will receive 2 doses of either AstraZeneca investigational vaccine or placebo injection
- Blood draws and nasal swab specimens are required
- Weekly electronic COVID-19 symptom surveys and frequent communication with Research Center staff
- Follow-up period of 2 years including, 5 visits to the Research Center.
